Dog First Aid

Dog First Aid by Teesside First Aid

First aid is not just for humans.

Teesside First Aid can now help you take even more care of your favourite friend by providing you the skills to perform pet first aid for your furry friends.

When people think of first aid, they often do not think about their pets. Pets have accidents the same as humans and knowing what to do should the worst happen is a simple thing to learn with basic training. Dog first aid is not aimed to replace veterinary care but it will help you to recognise an emergency, calm your pet and reduce the risks of delayed treatment.

This course is ideal for pet owners or pet professionals. It covers the main first aid subjects for DogsĀ  but this information is also suitable for most other animals. Understanding basic first aid for your pet will give you the skills to assist them and prevent them from getting worse before professional help is given by your vet.

The course is approximately 4 hours long and you will receive an accredited certificate that is valid for 3 years. As a student of K9 First Aid you will receive access to an online student dashboard where you can access student manuals and other useful information after the course.
