Paediatric first aid and EFAW/FAW combined courses saving classroom time

Paediatric first aid and EFAW/FAW combined courses
As an approved Protrainings EU centre we can now mix Paediatric first aid and EFAW/FAW combined courses to reduce classroom time for students. We can now combine paediatric first aid with workplace FAW and EFAW. The following courses can be combined and issue two certificates as either ProTrainings or regulated qualifications:
- The FAW can now be combined with the 2 day Paediatric First Aid qualifications
- The FAW requalification can now be combined with the 2 day Paediatric First Aid qualifications
- The 2-day Paediatric First Aid can be combined with the EFAW
- The Blended Paediatric First Aid can be combined with the EFAW
Having the paediatric qualification and a workplace qualification meets the childcare needs and the HSE requirements in the workplace, this is a win-win situation for employers, employees and educators alike.
All our approved instructors are able to offer these combined courses.
It previously took 3-5 days to teach these courses and most of the content was duplicated. Now, by choosing a combined course and adding a little time to each day, both qualifications can be taught in less time. This gives learners the option to gain two qualifications easily and for a lower course cost and less time away from work.
Due to the extra time required for instruction and the cost of additional certificates there is a slight increase over the cost of the usual course.
As the demand for these combined courses is not high at the moment, there are none scheduled. However due to the flexibility of Teesside First Aid we can run these courses at short notice and on a mutually agreed date.
